Twitter articles seem to be everywhere these days. Two recent articles are worth noting if you aren't very familiar with the hows and whys of Twitter.
The first one is by The Wall Street Journal called How to Twitter. It's pretty basic but gives a nice overview. (Comments are good too.)
The other is by Slate called What the Heck Is Twitter? I am really interested in the idea presented in this article about Twitter as a search engine for "real time" data. (i.e. Hudson River plane crash, Mumbai attacks, etc.) Maybe this is because I identify as a news junkie and a maven.
What's the best way for the arts to use Twitter? More importantly, WHO (besides industry followers) are reading the tweets and WHY?
